RESOLUTION NO: 86-18380
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING MIAMI BEACH
MARINE AUTHORITY' S RECOMMENDATION OF CREATING A -
"NO WAKE" ZONE IN THE AREA OF THE MIAMI BEACH
MARINA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
WHEREAS, The Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida unanimously recommends that a NO WAKE zone be
created in the area of the Miami Beach Marina, north side _of-MacArthur
Causeway Bridge, south to Government Cut and West to U. S. Coast
Guard Base .
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach believes that creating this NO WAKE zone would be in the
best interest of protecting the vessels docked at the Miami Beach
Marina from damage .
WHEREAS, the Marine Authority of the City of Miami
Beach feels wholeheatedly that the creation of this NO WAKE zone
should also be approved by the City Commission .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA THAT the City
Commission adopt the Miami Beach Marine Authority' s recommendation
and grant the creation of this NO WAKE ZONE.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this -Nth day of February , 1986 .
