RESOLUTION NO. 86-18391
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, WAIVING THE
GREENS FEES FOR THE NOR-ISLE OPTIMIST CLUB ON
MAY 14, 1986, AT BAYSHORE GOLF COURSE.
WHEREAS, for the reasons more particularly set forth in the attached Commission
Memorandum, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach finds it in the best interest of •
the City to waive the greens fees for the Nor-Isle Optimist Club.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the greens fees for the Nor-Isle Optimist Club be waived.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of March , 1986

SUBJECT: Waiver of Greens Fees for Nor-Isle Optimist Club on May 14th, 1986
Attached hereto is a letter from Jerry Libbin requesting the waiving of greens fees, for
approximately one-hundred and forty-four (144) participants in the charity golf tournament
sponsored by the Nor-Isle Optimist Club. This tournament will take place at Bayshore Golf
Course. This event raises funds for summer camp scholarships for children living on Miami
Beach. Starting time is 9:30 A.M.
Because of the proposed change-over to private management, this would have to serve as the
final fee waiver request.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION:
If full participation of the 144 anticipated participants takes place, this would necessitate
closing the Bayshore Golf Course in the morning. If substantially fewer participate, waiving of
fees would be all that would be required to fulfill this request.
Recommend approval.
