RESOLUTION NO. 86-18414
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ,CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND
BORRELLI, FRANKEL, BLITSTEIN, A JOINT VENTURE,
AND THOMPSON VENTULETT STAINBACK & ASSOCIATES,
INC. , ARCHITECTS, FOR ARCHITECTURAL, ENGINEER-
ING AND RELATED PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATIVE
TO THE EXPANSIQN OF.;- 'HE ,MIAM,I BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER. 4'
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, or May 3, 1985, entered into
an Agreement with Borrelli, Frankel, Blitstein, a Joint Venture,
and Thompson Ventulett Stainback. & Associates, Inc. , Architects,
for Architectural, Engineering' and Related,'Profesional Services
relative to the expansion of themTM BeachConvention Center;
and
WHEREAS , the City and the Architect wish to amend the
Agreement-; and
WHEREAS, an Amendment has been prepared, the Tourist and Con-
vention Center Expansion Authority and City Manager have
recommeded execution of the Amendment and the City Attorney has
• approved it as to form,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY -OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, the Mayor and the City Clerk are
authorized to execute the Amendment to Agreement between the City
of Miami Beach and Borrelli, Frankel, Blitstein, a Joint Venture,
and Thompson Ventulett Stainback & Associates, Inc. , Architects,
for architectural, engineering, and related professionalservices
relative to the expansion of the Miami Beach Convention Center .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of April 1986 .
