RESOLUTION NO. 86-18427
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PLEDGING ITS
SUPPORT TO PRESIDENT RONALD REAGAN'S STAND ON
TERRORISM.
WHEREAS, various acts of terrorism have occurred
throughout the world causing fear and unrest amongst the civilized
population; and
WHEREAS, we in the City of Miami Beach and the United
States will not permit such inhumane treatment of any country' s
citizens; and
WHEREAS, such terrorist acts will not be tolerated
without uncovering the perpetrators of such barbarous crimes; and
WHEREAS, President Ronald Reagan has sworn to fight this
reign of terror.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it endorses
and pledges its support to President Ronald Reagan' s stand on
terrorism.
