RESOLUTION NO. 86-18440
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH FLORIDA FURNITURE EXHIBITORS,
INC. FOR THE USE OF THE SOUTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER JANUARY 28-
FEBRUARY 4, 1987 AND FOR THE USE OF THE NORTH
AND SOUTH HALLS OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION
CENTER AUGUST 12-19, 1987.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised that
FLORIDA FURNITURE EXHIBITORS, INC.
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
THE SOUTH HALL OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER (JAN. 28,1987-FEB 4, 1987)
THE NORTH AND SOUTH HALLS OF THE MIAMI
BEACH CONVENTION CENTER (AUG. 12-19, 1987)
for the event known as
FLORIDA FURNITURE SHOW
on JANUARY 28, 1987-FEBRUARY 4, 1987 and,
AUGUST 12-19, 1987
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of
and is familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agree-
ment and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to
authorize the execution of the said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute the above-described agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May, 1986 .
