Resolution 86-18450 RESOLUTION NO. 86-18450 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO RETAIN GREENBERG, TRAURIG, ASKEW, HOFFMAN, LIPOFF, ROSEN & QUENTEL, P.A. , AS BOND COUNSEL FOR THE ISSUANCE OF REFUNDING BONDS FOR THE THEATRE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS , THE JUSTICE CENTER, AND SOUTH POINTE INFRASTRUCTURE DURING THE YEAR 1986 . WHEREAS, interest rates are presently at a lower rate than when certain outstanding bonds were issued; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach has determined that the City will derive a great financial saving in the issuance of refunding bonds for the Theatre of the Performing Arts, The Justice Center and South Pointe Infrastructure; and WHEREAS, bond counsel is required to be retained in order to effectuate such an issue. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT . DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, to authorize the City Attorney to retain Greenberg, Traurig, Askew, Hoffman, Lipoff, Rosen & Quentel, P.A. , as counsel for issuance of refunding bonds for the Theatre of the Performing Arts, The Justice Center, and South Pointe Infrastructure, during the year 1986. PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May , 1986 .
