Resolution 86-18452 RESOLUTION NO. 86-18452 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR RENTAL AND/OR USE OF CITY OF MIAMI BEACH PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FACILITIES, SOUTH POINTE PARK. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that effective May 21. 1986 there is hereby established a fee schedule for the rental and/or use of facilities located within South Pointe Park in accordance with said schedules as are hereby attached and made part thereof. A fee of $25_.00/hour for electricians and $20.00/hour for maintenance personnel (4 hour minimum) per employee assigned to the event or for clean-up after the event will be paid to the City of Miami Beach. The number of`employees required will be determined by the Parks and Recreation Department. The above rental rates are for a minimum of four (4) event hours (maximum of 2 hours set-up and 2 hours break-down are included in the rental fees above). BEACH AND MUST BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE OFFICE OF THE . PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT (5 DAYS) PRIOR TO THE EVENT. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE. WITHOUT 48 HOURS NOTICE. EVENING EVENTS MUST BE CONCLUDED BY 11:30 P.M. • INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS (ALL FACILITIES) Lessees are required to provide an Owners, Landloards, and Tenants' Liability policy (premises address must be stated on the policy), or, a General Comprehensive Liability Policy. The Minimum coverage to be provided is $1,000,000 Single Limit for both Bodily Injury and Property Damage per Occurence on either of the above, plus Workers Compensation. The following.statement must appear on the certificate and must also be stated.on an endorsement and'made‘a part of:each policy of insurance: "The City of. Miami Beach is an additional insured and this shall be primary coverage to all other coverage the City has for this rental agreement only." When special requirements are necessitated, lessee may be required to provide additional insurance such as, but not limited to products and completed operations. . Par •'ns V//( '` City Manager SUBJECT: Fee Schedule - South Pointe Park • South Pointe Park is a large and unique facility, housing several large areas that may be used for a multitude of activities. The large areas-within the Park are the Amphitheater, Amphitheater Field, and Special Events Area. The Parks and Recreation Department has reviewed the operating costs for the entire park, as well as the individual areas, and recommends the attached rental fee schedule.
