A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT WITH DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS. FOR
THE USE OF THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER JUNE 13
& 16, 1986 (REHEARSALS). AND JUNE 17, 18 & 19,
1986 (GRADUATIONS) .
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised that
DADE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS
desires to lease certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
for the event(s) known as
REHEARSALS AND GRADUATIONS
on JUNE 13 & 16, 1986 (REHEARSALS) AND,
JUNE 17, 18 & 19, 1986 (GRADUATIONS)
and
WHEREAS, an appropriate agreement has been prepared
by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to
form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of
and is familiar with the terms and provisions of the said agree-
ment and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to
authorize the execution of the said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA. that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute the above-described agreement on behalf of the City, and
that the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
