RESOLUTION NO. 86-18463
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, SETTING A
RENTAL SCHEDULE FOR SOUTH POINTE PARK
PICNIC PAVILIONS AND ESTABLISHING CONCES-
SIONAIRE RENTAL SERVICE FEES.
WHEREAS, South Pointe Park has four (4) large pavilions,
three (3) small pavilions, and fourteen (14) individual barbecue
grills that have no shelters . In each of the pavilions there is
a barbecue grill; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation. Department has made a study
of five (5) parks in Dade County and two (2) parks in Broward County
that charge rental fees for the use of picnic pavilions; and
WHEREAS., the Parks and Recreation Department feel that the
following rental fees should be charged on a daily basis:
Small pavilions (40 persons) $50. 00 per day
Large pavilions (60 persons) $75. 00 per day
Individual barbecue no charge
The concessionaire will receive ten (l00) percent of the above
rental schedule for assuming the total responsibility for the
rental operation of the picnic pavilions.
There will be a Fifty ($50. 00) Dollar refundable deposit to cover
cleanup that will be charged at the time of the rental of the
pavilions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, to set a rental schedule for
South Pointe Park Picnic Pavilions and establish concessionaire
rental service fees.
