A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF
APPLICATION(S) TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) UNDER THE HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT GRANT PROGRAM
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
WHEREAS, The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (IUD)
has announced the • availability of funds under the Housing Development Grant
Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has requested the submission of
proposals to the City from interested parties, under this program; and
WHEREAS, program regulations require that the City Commission authorize
the submission of any application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development; and
WHEREAS, due to the HUD application deadline of July 21, 1986, it would
not allow the Administration to prepare a complete report to the City Commission
before its submission of an application to HUD;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager be authorized to
submit applications to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under
the Housing Development Grant Program.
