RESOLUTION NO. 86-18536
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REQUESTING TAX
EXEMPTION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT WASHINGTON
AVENUE AND BISCAYNE STREET, ACQUIRED IN LIEU
OF EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS INSTITUTED BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR PUBLIC
USE.
WHEREAS, on May 22 , 1986, the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
acquired for public use the following described property:
Lots 29 , 30, and 31, in Block 51, of OCEAN BEACH ADDI-
TION NO. 3, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 2, at page 81, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, herewith formally requests exemption from taxes as of
date of acquisition of the property herein set forth, pursuant to
Florida Statutes, Section 196. 28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that a certified copy of this Resolution be
transmitted to the Metropolitan Dade County Commission, its County
Manager , its Tax Assessor and its Tax Collector .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23rd day of July, 1986 .
