A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 86-18349, AWARDING CONCESSION
AGREEMENT TO SAFE HARBOR, INC., FOR THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH SAILPORT IF SAFE HARBOR, INC. IS
UNABLE TO PROVIDE INSURANCE COVERAGE AS
REQUIRED BY AUGUST 30, 1986
WHEREAS, the City Adminstration, through the Purchasing Agent, solicited a
Request for Proposal (RFP 163-84/85) for the Operation of a concession at the City of
Miami Beach Sailport.
WHEREAS, Safe Harbor, Inc. submitted a proposal to provide for the operation
of a first class sail training and activity center.
WHEREAS, Safe Harbor, Inc. has been unable to acquire the insurance coverage
as required in the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT RESOLUTION NO. 86-18349, AWARDING
THE CONCESSION AGREEMENT TO SAFE HARBOR, INC., FOR THE OPERATION
OF A CONCESSION AT THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH SAILPORT SHALL BE
RESCINDED, WITHOUT FURTHER ACTION, IF SAFE HARBOR, INC. IS
UNABLE TO PROVIDE INSURANCE COVERAGE AS REQUIRED, BY AUGUST 30,
1986.
