RESOLUTION NO. 86-18566
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING SEPTEMBER 15-19, 1986 AS INDUSTRY
APPRECIATION WEEK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
THAT,
WHEREAS, business and industry in Miami Beach are vital to the community's
economic health; and
WHEREAS, Miami Beach's existing businesses and industries are the key to a
prosperous future; and
WHEREAS, the expansion of those businesses and industries accounts for the
majority of new jobs created; and
WHEREAS, Miami Beach's businesses and industries help sustain our quality of
life; and
WHEREAS, public knowledge of the contributions made by business and industry
is essential to maintenance of good community-industry relationships:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
does hereby proclaims the week of September 15-19, 1986 as INDUSTRY APPRECIATION
WEEK in Miami Beach, and urges all residents of Miami Beach to salute our industries and
their employees for their contribution to our community.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September 1986.
