RESOLUTION NO. 86-18568
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH RATIFYING THE ACTION OF
THE CITY MANAGER IN EXECUTING A PROFESSIONAL
MEDICAL RECORD AND CONSULTING PSYCHIATRIC
SERVICE AGREEMENT BETWEEN MOUNT SINAI MEDICAL
CENTER, INC. AND THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
WHEREAS, the City solicited professional medical,
medical record and Nconsulting psychiatric services for City
employees pursuant to Request for Proposal No. 151-85/88; and
WHEREAS , Mount Sinai Medical Center , Inc .
( "Hospital" ) agreed to provide the services specified pursuant to
Hospital ' s Response to RFP; and
WHEREAS, on July 23 , 1986 the City Commission
authorized the administration to negotiate a contract with
Hospital.
WHEREAS, the parties negotiated a Professional
Medical Record and Consulting Psychiatric Service Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney approved the documents
as to form; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager executed the agreement on
behalf of the City pursuant to the authority granted by the City
Commission on July 23, 198.6 to execute essential contracts during
August.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF MIAMI BEACH, ' FLORIDA, -that - the action of the City
Manager on August 29 , 1986 in executing a Professional Medical
Record and Consulting Psychiatric Service Agreement between Mount
Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, Inc. and the. City of Miami
Beach is hereby ratified.
