RESOLUTION NO. 86-18573
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE BUDGET AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST
ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1985/86 INCREASING THE
APPROPRIATION BY $9,100.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
hereby adopts the proposed operating budget for Police Confiscation Trust Account, a
true and correct listing of which is included and incorporated herein by reference, and
the monies therein be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows:

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR REMAINDER OF FISCAL
YEAR 1985/86 •
The Administration requests an amendment to the• operating budget for the Police
Confiscation Trust Account to appropriate an additional $9,100 .to provide funding for a
maintenance contract for the Hewlett Packard 3000 series 37 computer and storage fees for
impounded vehicles, pending forfeiture proceedings. The additional appropriation will
increase the Police Confiscation budget to a total of $41,300 for the remainder of fiscal
year 1985/86. The revenue is derived from confiscated property awarded to the Police
Department pursuant to F.S.S. 932 Contraband Forfeiture Act.

ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the amended operating
budget for the Police Confiscation Trust Account and appropriate funding.
