ACCEPTING RESULTS OF PERSONNEL BOARD ELECTION,
GROUP ONE EMPLOYEES, HELD ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1986
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Commission of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Clerk and Inspectors who
conducted the Election held on September 30, 1986 for the purpose of electing
a Regular member of Group One of the City employees to serve on the Personnel
Board; and
WHEREAS, the said City Commission has canvassed said returns and
certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of said
City that it hereby adopts the said certificate as the result of said
Election, and does hereby declare the member from Group One elected to the
Personnel Board, as follows:
GROUP ONE: HOKE JENKINS (Elected by 70 votes out of 125 votes taken,
being a clear majority at the Election) .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 1st day of October , 1986.

COUNTY OF DADE:
We, the undersigned Clerk and Inspectors, do hereby certify, in
duplicate, that we held and conducted an election of the members of Group
One of the employees of the City of Miami Beach, at the City Hall, 1700
Convention Center Drive, (Inside Lobby Area,) on September 30, 1986 for the
purpose of electing a member of the Personnel Board to represent Group One
that at the close of the polls we proceeded to open the ballot box and count
the ballots, and found the results of said Election as conducted by us to be
as follows, which results we then publicly proclaimed.
That there were a total of 1s5 votes taken.
