RESOLUTION NO. 86-18626.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND ENDORSING IN
CONCEPT, THE MIAMI JAZZ CONCERT SERIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is desirous of holding the concert series;
and,
WHEREAS, Miami Jazz, Inc. has received approval from the Miami Beach Sports
Committee; and,
WHEREAS, Miami Jazz, Inc. has tentatively scheduled three concert dates,
November 8, 1986, February 14, 1987, and April 18, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Miami Jazz, Inc. intends filming the concerts for television
syndication; and, _
WHEREAS, the video tape will show a sophisticated, classic life style, and the
Art Deco life style in Miami Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach approves in concept and
endorses the Miami Jazz Concert Series and waives all fees for the use of Abel Holtz Tennis
Stadium.
