A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, TO CO-NAME 77TH STREET AS LEHRMAN DRIVE. THE CO-
NAME, 77TH STREET-LEHRMAN DRIVE IN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
WILL EXIST FROM COLLINS AVENUE WEST TO BAYSIDE LANE.
WHEREAS, Rabbi Irving Lehrman has been recognized
as the official Rabbi of record in Temple Emanu-el for 42
years.
WHEREAS, Rabbi Irving Lehrman has served this City
with distinction, honor and a devotion far beyond the normal
call of duty for a full 42 years.
WHEREAS, Rabbi Irving Lehrman has given of himself
and his leadership to this community in a true and dedicated
manner for the last 42 years.
WHEREAS, Rabbi Irving Lehrman has brought recognition
and distinction to this community, throughout the United States,
as one of this nation' s most distinguished Rabbis, honored by
Jewry everywhere for his accomplishments.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH THAT:
Seventy-seven (77) Street in the City of Miami Beach,
running from Collins Avenue west to Bayside Lane, be henceforth
co-named Lehrman Drive.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of October , 1986 .
