Resolution 86-18651 RESOLUTION NO. 86-18651 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH SUPPORTING THE $3 MILLION GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ISSUE FOR STREET/SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS ON OCEAN DRIVE AND 15TH STREET, AND LUMMUS PARK IMPROVEMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH ELECTORATE AT THE NOVEMBER 4, 1986 ELECTION. WHEREAS, on October 15, 1986, the City Commission supported passage of the November 4, 1986 City of Miami Beach Special Election ballot question regarding the $3 million General Obligation Bond Issue for street/sidewalk improvements on Ocean Drive and 15th Street, and Lummus Park Improvements; and WHEREAS, the passage of this bond issue is vital to the revitalization of the Ocean Drive and Lummus Park corridors; and WHEREAS, in order to implement this revitalization, the City Commission urges support of this bond issuance. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that they wholeheartedly support and endorse passage of the $3 million General Obligation Bond Issue for street/sidewalk improvements on Ocean Drive and 15th Street and Lummus Park improvements.
