A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
• AMENDMENT WITH NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL COR-
PORATION FOR THE USE OF THE SOUTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER DECEMBER 5-12,
1986 AND THE NORTH HALL WRAPAROUND FACILITY
OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER DECEMBER
9-11, 1986.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, has been advised that
NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION
desires to amend , certain premises and facilities of the City of
Miami Beach, to-wit:
THE NORTH HALL WRAPAROUND FACILITY
OF THE BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
on DECEMBER 5-12, 1986
for the event known . as
NAVISTAR INTERNATIONAL PARTS
AND SERVICE SALES CONFERENCE •
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease amendment has
been prepared by the Miami Beach Convention Center Director and
approved as to form by the City Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of
and is familiar with the terms and provisions of the said lease
amendment and deems it to be in the best interest of the City to
authorize the execution of the said lease amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMIS-
SION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to ex-
ecute the above-described lease amendment on behalf of the City,
and that the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of November ,
1986 .
