MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 86-18630 FOR
POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR
1986/87 SO AS TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION THEREOF.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida hereby adopts the amendment to the operating budget for Police Consfiscation
Trust Account, a true and correct listing of which is included and incorporated herein
by reference, and the monies therein be and the same are hereaby appropriated as
follows:

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISC ION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986/1987
The Administration requests an amendment to the operating budget for the Police
Confiscation Trust Account to appropriate an additional $100,000 to provide funding for the
purchase of ten (10 ea.) undercover vehicles for the SIU Division . The additional
appropriation will increase the Police Confiscation budget to a total of $236,084.00 for the
fiscal year 1986/87. The revenue is derived from confiscated property awarded to the
Police Department pursuant to F.S.S. 932, Contraband Forfeiture Act
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recom mends that the City. Com mission adopt the operating budget for
the.Police Confiscation Trust Account and appropriate funding.
