A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A CONSENT TO ASSIGNMENT OF CONCESSION
AGREEMENT FROM VEN-DOG CATERING, INC. TO PENROD
BROTHERS, INC.. FOR THE OPERATION OF A CONCESSION ON
THE BEACH AT SOUTH BEACH PARK, OCEANFRONT PARK ,
COLLINS PARK r .36TI1 STREET OPEN SPACE PARK AND. 65TH. STREET.,PARK.
WHEREAS, a Concession Agreement between Ernest Enterprises,
Inc. and the City of Miami Beach was entered on June 17 , 1983
pursuant to City Commission Resolution No. 83-17356 which ends on
June 16, 1988;
WHEREAS, the above described Concession Agreement provides
for the exclusive privilege of operating at South Beach Park ,
Oceanfront Park, Collins Park, 36th Street Open Space Park and
65th Street Park;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No . 84-17755 , the above
described concession rights were assigned from Ernest
Enterprises, Inc. to Ven-Dog Catering, Inc. on June 5, 1984;
WHEREAS, Ven-Dog Catering, Inc. is desirous of assigning its
concession rights to all five areas to Penrod Brothers, Inc. and
Penrod Brothers, Inc. is desirous of assuming those concession
rights, and an assignment has been executed by the parties.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are authorized to execute a consent to assignment of
concession agreement from Ven-Dog Catering , Inc . ' to Penrod
Brothers, Inc. for the operation of a concession on the beach at
South Beach Park, Oceanfront Park, Collins Park, 36TH STREET OPEN
SPACE.,.PARK, AND.65TH, STREET .PARK.
