RESOLUTION NO. 86-18690
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE A LEASE WITH THE UNITED STATES POSTAL
SERVICE FOR OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES ON THE ROOF OF
THE MUNICIPAL PARKING GARAGE AT THE S.W. CORNER OF
SHERIDAN AVENUE AND 42ND STREET
WHEREAS, the United States Postal Service has been leasing on a month-to-
month basis parking meters at Sheridan Avenue and 42nd Street; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that a rate increase to $250.00 per meter,
per year, is indicated; and
WHEREAS, a new Lease Agreement reflecting the rate increase has been
prepared, the City Manager recommends the execution and the City Attorney has approved
the agreement as to form.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
1. The Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to execute the Lease
Agreement with the United States Postal Service for off-street parking spaces on the roof
of the municipal parking garage at the S.W. corner of Sheridan Avenue and 42nd Street.
