A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 86-18630 FOR
POLICE CONFISCATION TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR
1986/87 SO AS TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATION THEREOF.
BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida
hereby adopts the amendment to the operating budget for Police Confiscation Trust
Account, a true and correct listing of which is included and incorporated herein by
reference, and the monies therein be and the same are hereby appropriated as follows:

SUBJECT: POLICE CONFISCA ON TRUST ACCOUNT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1986/1987
The Administration requests an amendment to the operating budget for the Police
Confiscation Trust Account to appropriate an additional $20,000.00 to be used for payment
to the North Miami Police Department for their assistance to the Miami Beach Police
Department in Case Number 86-54527 resulting in the seizure of $235,300.00. The additional
appropriation will increase the Police Confiscation budget to a total of $290,584.00 for the
fiscal year 1986/87.
ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDATION
The Administration recommends that the City Commission adopt the operating budget for
the Police Confiscation Trust Account and appropriate funding.

committed the following violation of law. Narrative;(Be specific) Pursuant to an ongoing narco inves i qa ion
above defendants were arrested after accepting delivery of 2000 Dilaudid pills in exchange for
$28,000.00 US Currency. Defendant Todd was in possession of the 2000 Diaaudid pills, and
was waiting for the delivery of an additional 2000 Diaaudid pills for $28,000.00, while
co-def. Napolitano stood as a lookout. Once the exchange of the 2000 pills and original
$28,000.00 took place , defendants walked back to their vehicle where they were placed under
arrest and an additional $28,000.00 was located. Both defendant and co-defendant were
placed under arrest. (TOTAL $56,000.00.) Defs. advised of Rights, transported by No. Miami
Police to S.I.U. Spprial investigators from Dade Co. S/Aa on scene .
Incidental to arrest, Defendant Todd was patted down and an additional 41 Dilaudid pills
were found on his person. Additional Charge #2 added.

aforementioned request for expenditures from the City of Miami Beach, Police
Confiscation Trust Fund, for the amendment to the operating budget to provide funds
to compensate the North Miami Police Department for their assistance to the Miami
Beach Police Department in Case Number 86-54527 resulting in the seizure of
$235,300.00, complies with the provisions of Section 932.704, Florida Statutes.
