RESOLUTION NO. 87-18716
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE
AGREEMENT AND AMENDMENT WITH IBM INFORMATION
SYSTEMS GROUP FOR THE USE OF NORTH HALL OF THE
MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER MARCH 2.5 - APRIL 3,
1987 AND THEATRE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS MARCH 30 -
APRIL 2, 1987.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, has
been advised that
IBM INFORMATION SYSTEMS GROUP
desires to lease certain premises and facilitiies of the City of Miami Beach, to-wit:
NORTH HALL OF THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER
AND THEATRE OF THE PERFORMING ARTS
on MARCH 25 - APRIL 3, 1987 - NORTH HALL
MARCH 30 - APRIL 2, 1987 - THEATRE
for the event known as
CONFERENCE AND SHOW
AND WHEREAS, an appropriate lease amendment has been prepared by the
Miami Beach Convention Center Director and approved as to form by the City Attornmey,
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has been advised of and is familiar with
the terms and provisions of the said lease amendment and deems it to be in the best
interest of the City to authorize the execution of the said lease amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to execute the above-described lease amendment on
behalf of the City, and that the Miami Beach Convention Center Director be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and provisions undertaken
therein by the City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 1987.
