Subject: The Parks & Recreation Department invites you to peruse through our new Winter/Spring 2004 "Recreation Review", the complete program of exciting and fun-filled recreational activities designed for the citizens, tourists and day guests of Miami Beach. Programs included in our most recent publication will run from January 5th through June 13th, 2004. As you review this information, you will see activities designed for all ages, interests and abilities. We also welcome you to explore the "New Format" of the Recreation Review. Featured in this issue are "Mini-News Pages"to inform our residents of our new facilities and programs. We have included a more user-friendly format for every member of the family, designed to help spread the fun throughout our Miami Beach community. In addition, the "Recreation Review" has incorporated paid advertisements in excess of $15,000 for this issue, in order to offset the cost on the expansion of its circulation. A copy of the Winter/Spring 2004 "Recreation Review" is now being mailed directly to every Miami Beach household; a total of over 56,000 will be sent. Additionally, approximately 10,000 copies of the "Recreation Review" program will be distributed via our parks, schools and area businesses. A full color Spanish program and alternate formats for persons with disabilities are also available upon request.
