The attached document provides the maximum allowable towing rates for non-consent
tows in Miami-Dade County.
Specifically, Class · A" tows which are the most common types oftows such as automobiles
was raised to $97.00 on July 22, 2003, as per Miami-Dade County Resolution No. R~53-
03, Typically, non-consensual tows require title and lien searches, advertising costs, and
notification of lien holder(s) and owner of the vehicle's whereabouts. This fee is passed on
to the user as an "administrative fee". The current maximum allowable administrative fee
is $30; therefore, the total maximum allowable rate is $127.00. This does not include
mileage and/or any other special equipment that the vehicle manufacturer may require or
any additional labor required in order to properly tow the vehicle.
