"COME OUT AND PLAY" - AT GRAND RE-OPENING CEREMONIES
FOR OUR NEIGHBORItOOD PARKS
It is with great pride that the Administration invites you to the Grand Re-Opening Ceremonies for
the parks that have been recently renovated as part of the City's Parks Bond Improvement Program.
The Parks and Recreation Department will host an afternoon of festivities and ribbon cutting
ceremonies on June 19, 1999 per the following schedule:
1:00pm @ Stillwater Park
8440 Hawthorne Ave
2:00pm @ Crespi Park
7801 Crespi Boulevard
3:00pm ~ La Gorce Park
6431 Alton Road
4:00pm
@ Palm Island Park 159 Palm Avenue
Ribbon cutting ceremonies will be held promptly at fifteen minutes past the hour designated above.
City staff, area homeowners and community agencies have met to plan the celebrations. Recreation
Division staff will provide interactive games, refreshments, music and giveaways. Park activities
will continue to be staffed and celebrated for two hours from the aforementioned schedules.
