SUBJECT: Personnel Board Group 3 Election
Pursuant to City Code Section 2-190.69, the Office of the City Clerk commenced election
procedures to elect the employee representative of Group 3 for the Personnel Board, for the term
commencing August 1, 2021 and ending July 31, 2024. Group 3 consists of"all other classified
employees."
On June 1, 2021, a notice was sent to eligible Group 3 employees informing them that an election
had been called to elect the Group 3 employee representative to the Personnel Board. The notice
was disseminated via e-mail to Department Directors, Division Directors, and Management Team,
with instructions to post and distribute the notice among their employees. Group 3 employees had
from Monday, June 7, 2021 to Friday, June 18, 2021 to declare their interest in qualifying to run as
the Group 3 employee representative on the Personnel Board.
_ The incumbent to the Group 3 seat, Evette Phillips, from Parks and Recreation Department, was

the only employee who filed to fill the vacancy in Group 3; therefore, Evette Phillips was deemed
elected without opposition as the Group 3 employee representative to the Personnel Board, to fill
the three-year term ending on July 31, 2024.

We, the undersigned Clerk and Witness, do hereby certify that:
