SUBJECT: Mayor's 41 st Street Blue Ribbon Committee Motions
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission ("L TC") is to provide an update regarding
the approved motions made during the June 24, 2021 meeting of the Mayor's 41 st Street
Blue Ribbon Committee.
Members present: Seth Gadinsky (Chair), Robin Jacobs (Vice Chair), Jerri Hertzberg
Bassuk, Betty Behar, Michael Burnstine, Yechiel Ciment, and Bonnie Crabtree
Motion: Recommendation for the City of Miami Beach to make a push at the County
level to install a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of 37 th & Sheridan and to explore
methods of streamlining more efficient transportation methods going forward so as not to
continuously deal with City and County bureaucracy.

Motion seconded by: Betty Behar
Motion passed: 7 - 0
MOTION: Recommendation to have the City of Miami Beach explore either repurposing
and/or beautifying Lieberman Square on Pine Tree Drive and 41 st Street.
