SUBJECT: First Time Homebuyer Program Update
The purpose of this letter is to communicate the income eligibility and application approval of a
First Time Homebuyer Applicant for the purchase of a condominium unit located at 7118 Bonita
Drive, Unit 705, Miami Beach, FL 33141.
The applicant is income -eligible for both HOME and SHIP first time homebuyer programs and
will receive $63,320: $40,000 from FY 19/20 HOME Investment Partnership Program and
$23,320 from FY 18/19 SHIP funds.
The City is currently working with the lender, title company and Condominium association in
preparation of the closing scheduled for August 9, 2021. The City will be able to meet its SHIP
expenditure deadline and the program's special needs set-aside with the approval of the
transaction.
Currently, the City has a waitlist of 42 applicants and will work with applicants on a first qualified,
first served basis.
