Advisory Committee Motions
This Letter to the Commission ("LTC") provides an update regarding a motion passed at the
December 15, 2021 meeting of the Ad Hoc North Beach CRA Advisory Committee.
Members in Attendance: Daniel Veitia (Vice Chair), Romina Orozco-Encio, Betsy Perez, and
Manning Salazar. Chair Jose Smith and Committee members John
Bowes and David Sexton were absent.
Motion: In recognition of the positive community impact resulting from the installation
of holiday lighting along 71° Street, the Committee recommends that the City Commission
extend the installation of enhancement lighting throughout the remaining commercial
districts of North Beach on a permanent basis.
