Hudak, City Mana DA TE: May 9, 2022 SUBJECT: Nurse Enhancement Initiative Behavioral/Mental Health Services Summary Report The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of our Nurse Enhancement Initiative for Behavioral Health/Mental Health youth support services from August 2021 through April 2022 for North Beach Elementary, Miami Beach South Pointe Elementary, Miami Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8, Biscayne Beach Elementary, Treasure Island Elementary, Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, Miami Beach Nautilus Middle School, and Miami Beach Senior High School. Overall, 256 youth received 1,755 mental health support services in the 2021-2022 school year through April 2022 from the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Social Worker) in all Miami Beach feeder public schools. Broad K-8 Center two (2) days per week, Miami Beach South Pointe Elementary one (1) day per week, Miami Beach Fienberg Fisher K-8 one (1) day per week, Miami Beach Nautilus Middle School two (2) days per week, and Miami Beach Senior High School five (5) days per week.
