A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO RETROACTIVELY ACCEPT THE
FOLLOWING DONATIONS: (1) TWO GIFT CARDS IN THE COMBINED
TOTAL AMOUNT OF $150.00, FROM SEXY COW, LLC; (2) TEN GIFT
CARDS IN THE COMBINED TOTAL AMOUNT OF $225.00, FROM
SRIRACHA HOUSE, LLC; AND (3) FOUR GIFT CARDS IN THE
COMBINED TOTAL AMOUNT OF $100, FROM FAT RONNIE'S SOBE,
LLC; SOME OF WHICH WERE UTILIZED AS PRIZES DURING THE
BITCOIN 2022, AND EMERGE AMERICAS CONFERENCES, HELD AT
THE MIAMI BEACH CONVENTION CENTER DURING APRIL, 2022,
WITH THE REMAINING GIFT CARDS TO BE UTILIZED IN OTHER
UPCOMING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT NEW BUSINESS
ATTRACTION INITIATIVES.
WHEREAS, the City's Economic Development Department took part in the Bitcoin
2022, and emerge Americas Conferences (the "Events"), both of which were held at the
Miami Beach Convention Center during the month of April, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Events were meant to engage with conference attendees,
bringing awareness to the City's new business attraction efforts, and showcasing City's
business incentives; and
WHEREAS, the Administration worked to source local restaurants who were
willing to donate gift certificates to be used as raffle prizing to increase engagement
amongst conference attendees, while also promoting the City's restaurant industry; and
WHEREAS, the Sexy Cow LLC, located at 809 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL,
33139, donated two (2) gift cards with a combined value of$150.00; and
WHEREAS, Sriracha House LLC, located at 1502 Washington Avenue, Miami .
Beach, FL, 33139, donated ten (10) gift cards with a combined value of$225.00; and
WHEREAS, Fat Ronnie's SOBE, LLC, located at 1233 Lincoln Road, Miami
Beach, FL, 33139, donated four (4) gift cards with a combined value of of$100.00; and
WHEREAS the City Manager recommends that the Mayor and City Commission
retroactively approve these donations, some of which were utilized as a raffle prizing for

the Events, with the remaining gift cards to be utilized in other upcoming Economic
Development new business attraction initiatives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby approve and authorize the City of Miami Beach to retroactively
accept the following donations: (1) two gift cards in the combined total amount of
$150.00, from Sexy Cow, LLC; (2) ten gift cards in the combined total amount of
$225.00, from Sriracha House, LLC; and (3) four gift cards in the combined total amount
of $100, from Fat Ronnie's SOBE, LLC; some of which were utilized as prizes during
the Bitcoin 2022 and eMerge Americas conferences, held at the Miami Beach
Convention Center during April, 2022, with the remaining gift cards to be utilized in other
upcoming Economic Development new business attraction initiatives.

The Administration recommends that the Mayor and Commission accept the resolution, to
retroactively approve and authorize the City to accept donations from The Sexy Cow LLC.,
consisting of two (2) gift cards in the total amount of $150.00, from Sriracha House, LLC.,
consisting of ten (10) gift cards in the total amount of $225.00, and from Fat Ronnie's SOBE
LLC., consisting of four(4)gift cards in the total amount of$100.00,which were used as prizing
during the Bitcoin and Emerge Americas Conferences, held at the Miami Beach Convention
Center during April 2022, as well as additional upcoming economic development new business
attraction initiatives.
BACKGROUND/HISTORY
On April 5, 2022, the City of Miami Beach ("City") Economic Development Department took
part in the Bitcoin and Emerge conferences being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
As part of the City's activations, raffles were held within our booths to increase customer
engagement with conference attendees, while also promoting these local restaurants to Bitcoin
and Emerge attendees. Any leftover donations will be used for future Economic Development
new business attraction initiatives.
The gift cards from The Sexy Cow LLC, Sriracha House, LLC., and Fat Ronnie's SOBE LLC.,
were utilized as prizing for those initiatives.
