Amendment No.1 to Grant Agreement with Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce • AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA AND MIAMI BEACH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE This Amendment No, 1 (Amendment) to the Grant Agreement Number 2020-CMB-01, dated January 14, 2021, (Agreement) by and between the City of Miami Beach, Florida, a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Florida, having its principal place of business at 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139 (City), and the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, a Florida not for profit corporation having its pri ipal place of business at 1920 Meridian Avenue, Florida 33133 is entered into this /,)'/4ay of fe/Irerz?e.L , 2021, but effective on day of , (Effective Date): RECITALS WHEREAS, on September 16, 2020 the Mayor and City Commission adopted Resolution Number 2020-31419, approving a grant award in the amount of$36,000 to Grantee, and WHEREAS, on January 14, 2021 the City and Grantee executed the Agreement, with a term commencing on October 1, 2020 and ending on September 30, 2021; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to execute Amendment No. 1, which will amend the budget of the Agreement by making line item changes, without increasing the amount of the award. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and conditions contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the City and Consultant hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows: 1. ABOVE RECITALS. The above,recitals are true and correct and are incorporated as part of this Amendment, 2. MODIFICATIONS. The Agreement is hereby amended (deleted items struck ough and inserted items underlined)as follows: Exhibit 2 to the Agreement is hereby deleted in its entirely and replaced with the attached Amended Exhibit 2: 3. RATIFICATION. Except as amended herein, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
