SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-334-WG, for
Professional Tennis Management and Operations Services at the City's Miami Beach
Tennis Center
The purpose of this L TC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2022-334-WG. The RFP seeks proposals from high ly qualified firms interested
in providing professional tennis management and operations services for the Miami Beach Tennis
Center located at 501 72nd Street.
The City received proposals pursuant to this RFP on June 15, 2022. The responsive proposals will be
reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the RFP.
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Omar Bayona, Recreation Superintendent, City of Miami;
• Cindy Casanova , Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department;
• Jose Del Risco , Assistant Director, Parks and Recreation Department;
• Carolina Jones, resident and member, Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board; and
• Betsy Perez, resident.
I have also appointed the following individuals as alternates :
• Paul DiMuont, Athletic Manager, Parks and Recreation Department; and
• Sean Sm ith , chair, Parks and Recreational Facilities Advisory Board.
