ENGINEERING SERVICES ON A ROTATIONAL BASIS FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS

PROJECT, AND STUDY ACTIVITIES FOR WHICH THE FEE DOES NOT EXCEED

This is to inform you of my intentions to appoint a committee to evaluate the responses received, pursuant
to Requests For Qualifications (RFQ) No. 110-96/97, and recommend to the City Commission several
professional architectural/engineering firms for the above subject. The proposed evaluation committee
members are:
Jim Schlobohm - Alton Road Resident
Bill Taylor - Architect
Donald Shockey - North Beach Development Corporation
Alfredo Gonzalez Jr. - Lincoln Road Merchant
Jose R. Diaz - City Resident/FPL Engineer
Thomas Mooney - Planning Department
John Oldenburg - Parks Department
David Cates - Public Works Department
Brian Bartholomew - Parking Department
Notices of RFQ No. 110-96/97 were mailed to 178 firms, with 27 firms responding and submitting their
qualifications.
