Event: Parent's Night Out
Date: December 9, 2022
Time: 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m.
Location: Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
Fee: $10 I participant
Parents/guardians deserve a night off! Register your child to enjoy an evening of holiday
fun . Activities for children in grades K-8 include arts and crafts, special surprise guests,
ice skating, a holiday movie, and snacks. Dinner will be provided. Register at
www.reqister.miamibeachparks.com beginning on November 21 •1 at 10:00 a.m.
Event: Jingle Jog 2K Run
Date: December 10, 2022
Time: 7:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Location: South Pointe Park (1 Washington Avenue) & Lummus Park (10th &
Ocean Dr.)
Fee: $15 participant fee
Come join us for our festive 2K run beginning at South Pointe Park and ending with a post-
party at Muscle Beach in Lummus Park. All registered participants will receive a bib, t-
shirt, medal, and goodie bag. We encourage participants to dress festive for the run. Best

Event: Photos with Santa

Location: Muss Park (4300 Chase Avenue)
Fee: $10 per photo & Santa experience
Santa will be at Muss Park this holiday season! Come by and take your photo with Santa
and enjoy crafts, hot cocoa, and more. Fee includes 1 photo. Additional pictures will be
available for sale. Tickets can be purchased beginning November 2151 by visiting

Event: Gift Wrapping Workshop

Our Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department invites all Seniors ages 55+ to attend
our annual Senior Holiday Party to enjoy an evening of food, dancing, and a holly jolly
good time! This event is free and transportation will be provided . Space is limited and
RSVPs are required for admission to the event. RSVPs can be made in person at
Flamingo Park, Scott Rakow Youth Center, or North Shore Park Youth Center or by

Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Santa's elves to get your letters to the North
Pole. Santa's mailboxes will be located at our youth centers. Be sure to drop off your letter
by Friday, December 24th. You can also email your letter to Santa at
MBKidsLetterstoSanta@miamibeachfl.gov and we will make sure it arrives to the North
Pole.

Toys for Tots

Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Toys for Tots to collect new unwrapped toys and
distribute those toys to less fortunate children for the holidays. Toys for Tots boxes will be
located at our youth centers. Be sure to drop off your unwrapped toy by Thursday,
December 15th.
Event: Miami Beach Football Club Soccer Game
Date: December 9, 2022

Come out and support the Miami Beach FC travel soccer program. They will be hosting a
double header schedule on Friday, December 9th featuring the U13 2010 boys at 6:30
p.m. and the U 19 2004 boys at 8:00 p.m.
Event: Miami Beach Football Club Jamboree / Family Day

The Miami Beach FC travel soccer program will have its second annual Jamboree/Family
Day. The Jamboree will include a day of intramurals for all players in the Miami Beach FC
program to compete against one another. World Cup matches will be shown and the Miami
Beach PAL will be selling food.

Event: Miami Beach Fire Rescue Cadet Ceremony

Location: Miami Beach Fire Station 2 (2300 Pinetree Drive)
The Miami Beach Fire Rescue Cadets will be having their end-of-term ceremony on
December 1811, at Miami Beach Fire Station 2. The ceremony and certificate presentation
will commence at 11 :00 a.m. following a fireground demonstration which will showcase
the Fire and EMS skills they have learned.
Event: Playtime Holiday Show

Participants in the Playtime Program will be singing and dancing to holiday favorites.
