A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING ALMODOVAR
MUSICA, LLC'S REQUEST TO WAIVE THE SPECIAL EVENT
PERMIT FEES AND USER FEES, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF
$1,106.59, FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A THREE KINGS DAY
SALSA CONCERT FOR SENIORS TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY,
JANUARY 6, 2023 AT NORTH SHORE PARK.
WHEREAS, during the December 14, 2022 City Commission meeting,
Commissioner David Richardson placed on the agenda an item to discuss Almodovar
Musica, LLC's request for a sponsorship of its production of a Three Kings Day Salsa
concert for seniors to be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at North Shore Park; and
WHEREAS, the City's sponsorship would consist of the waiver of special event
permit fees and user fees in the approximate amount of$1,106.56, for the use of a City
park for the event, a stage, and sanitation services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby approve Almodovar Musica, LLC's request to waive the special
event permit fees and user fees, in the total amount of$1,106.59, for the production of a
Three Kings Day Salsa concert for seniors to be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at
North Shore Park.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of December 2022.
