SUBJECT: DADE COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF CHIEFS OF POLICE ANNUAL
INSTALLATION CEREMONY AND DINNER
I am pleased to announce that our Police Chief, Richard Barreto, will be installed as the new
President of the Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police. The United States Attorney for the
Southern District, the Honorable Thomas Scott, will swear in Chief Barreto.
Chief Barreto will be installed at the Annual Installation Ceremony and Dinner. The event will be
held on Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at Monty's on the Beach. The cocktail reception will begin at
6:30PM and dinner will be served at 7:30PM. The installation ceremony will follow dinner.
We would like to extend invitations to the Mayor and Members of the City Commission to join us
in this proud moment for the City and Chief Barreto.
