If the MPO and OEM determine that a Transportation Concurrency Management Area is feasible, the Administration will present such findings as well as the implementation necessary to obtain such designation. *The State of Florida defines the objective of a Transportation Concurrency Management Area as follows.' The purpose of this optional alternative transportation concurrency approach is to promote infiH development or redevelopment within selected portions of urban areas in a manner that supports the provision of more efficient mobility alternatives, including public transit. As a coordinated approach to land-use and transportation development, it may employ the use of an area-wide level of service standard and an accommodation and management of traffic congestion. A transportation concurrency management area is a compact geographic area with existing or proposed multiple, viable alternative travel paths or modes for common trips. SM:Z~C/MWBCX~EcMP\TCMA-MPO. WPD
