Grant Agreement between CMB & American Friends of Magen David Adom, Inc2-323--3z$�0 MIAMI BEACH CITY OF MIAMI BEACH GRANT AGREEMENT The following sets forth the agreement between the City of Miami Beach, Florida, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida,. located at 1700 Convention Center Drive (hereinafter referred to as the "City" or "Grantor") and American Friends of Magen David Adom, Inc (the "Grantee"). This Agreement concerns the purpose, conditions, and administration of the City's commitment to the Grantee, totaling one hundred and fifteen thousand dollars ($115,000) (the "Grant"), as set forth more fully herein. The Grant provides the basis for the purchase of a Life Support Ambulance as detailed in Resolution 2023-32830. 1. Nature and Purpose of the Grant. The Grantor wishes to further the charitable purposes of the Grantee by funding the purchase of one (1) Life Support Ambulance. The Grantee agrees to use the grant and any associated matching funds to purchase, support, and maintain a Life Support Ambulance. 2. Uses and Conditions of the Grant. The express intent of the parties to this Agreement is for the Grantee to take possession of US one hundred and fifteen thousand dollars ($115,000), (net of any charges, taxes or other fees relating to currency conversions and/or the transfer of funds to the United States) for the above -stated purpose. The Grantee acknowledges that the receipt of this Grant does not imply a commitment on behalf of the Grantor to continue or provide funding beyond the terms specified in this Agreement. 3. Documentation. Within seven (7) business days of a request by the Grantor, Grantee shall provide documentation evidencing that the Grant funds have been expended for their intended purpose, as provided herein.
