RESIDENTIAL TRASH REP - EVALUATION COMMITTEE SELECTION
At the May 6, 1998 Commission meeting, the City Commission authorized the issuance of an RFP
for residential solid waste and yard trash collection and disposal -- RFP # 53-97/98. On June 18,
1998, the proposals were opened and ranked. In an effort to bring this item to the Commission in
a timely manner, I have proposed the following people to serve as the Evaluation Committee:
1. Judy Ford, Procurement Director (non-voting)
2. Robert Thomas, Sanitation Director
3. Charles Holiday, Chief of Performance Auditing for Miami-Dade County
4. Betty Capote, resident
5. Michele Burger, resident
6. Ronnie Singer, Executive Assistant to the City Manager
The Committee will meet on Tuesday, July 7, 1998, at 10:00 A.M. in the City Manager's Large
Conference Room. Their recommendation will be part of the Sanitation Department's presentation
at the July 15, 1998 City Commission meeting.
