It is with great pleasure that the Recreation, Culture and Parks Department cordially invites you to
attend the 551h Annual Playground Revue which will be presented at the Theater of Performing Arts
on Thursday July 23, 1998, at 7:30 p.m.
The Playground Revue is a traditional fun-filled night of entertainment. Summer campers between the
ages of four and seventeen, will perform dance routines to the theme of "Miami Beach Goes to the
Movies" for our audience of over 2000 Beach resident families and camp participants. This year's show
is dedicated to Scott Rakow, former Recreation employee who later became a Miami Beach Police
Officer and was killed in the line of duty, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of his death.
You are encouraged to join us for the opening ceremonies scheduled to begin promptly at 7:30 p.m.,
if you are not available to stay for the entire show. Your participation as well as that of your children,
