Event: Art Gallery Show
Time: 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m.

The City of Miami Beach will be hosting an Art Gallery Night where our adult program
participants from the ceramics and fine arts program will display their artwork. Refreshments and
snacks will be served. All are welcome.
Event: Surf Camp for Children with ASD
Date: March 25 -29, 2024
Time: 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Location: South Pointe Park (1 Washington Avenue)
Meet and Greet: March 24, 2024 at Normandy Isle Park and Pool (7030 Trouville Esplanade)
from 11:00 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
The University of Miami -Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities
(UM-NSU CARD) is teaming up with the City of Miami Beach Parks and Recreation Department
to host the 16th Annual Surf Camp for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Participating
children will spend the week focusing on swimming skills, basic oceanography, meteorology, open
water surfing and most importantly, their own abilities. The educational component of camp will be
held at South Pointe Park and the actual surfing component will be held on the beach, adjacent to
the park.
Event: Benito Juarez Celebration
Time: 4:00 p.m. -6:00 p.m.

Location: Collins Park by the Benito Juarez Bust (2100 Collins Avenue)
To celebrate Benito Juarez's life and accomplishments, the City will be hosting an event filled
with music, guest speakers, Cafecito, and much more. The ceremony will commence at 4:00
p.m. Coffee and food will be available beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Event: Spring Eggstravaganza
Date: March 30, 2024
Time: 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
Location: Flamingo Park (between 13th/14th Streets & Meridian Avenue)
Fee: $5 wristbands for carnival amusements
The City of Miami Beach will host the annual Spring Eggstravaganza. Admission to the event will
include an egg hunt for children 10 and younger beginning at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments and
carnival ride wristbands will be available for sale. Wristbands ($5) can be purchased beginning
March 11 at 10:00 a.m. by visiting reqister.miamibeachparks.com.
