GRADUATION FROM THE NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY'S TRAFFIC
INSTITUTE SCHOOL OF POLICE STAFF AND COMMAND COURSE BY
POLICE MAJOR DONALD DE LUCCA
This Letter to the Commission is to advise the Mayor and City Commissioners of the recent
graduation of Police Major Donald De Lucca from the prestigious Northwestem University's Traffic
Institute School of Police Staff and Command.
Major De Lucca attended the School of Police Staff and Command' s 121't Class that was held from
March 30, 1998 to June 30, 1998. This ten-week course is designed to prepare upper and mid-level
law enforcement managers and supervisors for senior management positions. Major De Lucca's
studies included the subjects of management and environment, organizational theory and behavior,
human resource administration, and skills for planning and analysis. Major De Lucca excelled
academically and was elected by his classmates to represent them as Class President.
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Major De Lucca on this wonderful
achievement. Major De Lucca is another example of the fine and professional men and women who
work in our PoliceMD;Zrtment.
