Granado, City Clerk ~ DATE: March 11, 2024 FROM: SUBJECT: Relocation of Vote-By-Mail Dropbox From Convention Center Drive to 17" Street Impacting the Mayor and Commissioners' Parking Spaces Due to a security zone implemented at the Miami Beach Convention Center for the Aspen Ideas: Climate conference, Convention Center Drive will be temporarily closed, impacting the accessibility of the Vote-by-Mail Dropbox located adjacent to City Hall. To ensure an undisrupted voting process, we have worked with the Elections Department to relocate the Vote-by-Mail Dropbox from Convention Center Drive to 17th Street, adjacent to the parking area reserved for the Mayor and Commissioners. This change is effective immediately and will continue until Sunday, March 17, 2024. Please be advised that this adjustment may lead to minor delays in entering and exiting the parking spaces designated for the Mayor and Commissioners. Notably, the only spots that will be unavailable during this period are those belonging to Commissioner Joseph Magazine and Vice Mayor Kristen Rosen Gonzalez. Both Commissioner Magazine and Vice Mayor Rosen Gonzalez have been informed of this relocation and have graciously agreed to temporarily forgo the use of their parking spaces in support of maintaining a smooth voting process.
