SUBJECT: (REVISED) ROOF REPLACEMENT BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE
I have appointed the following individuals to serve on the Roof Replacement Blue Ribbon
Committee, per the City Commission's directive from its July 15, 1998 Commission meeting:
1. Ronnie Singerman, President, Art Construction Co., and former TCCEA
Chairperson.
2. Donald Kipnis, Chief Executive Officer, Miller and Solomon, and a Miami Beach
resident.
3. Charlie Danger, Interim Building Official, Miami-Dade County Planning,
Development and Regulations Department.
4. Mark Jacobson, BAC member, and owner of an insurance company which has
exclusive dealings with roofing contractors and general claims for roofing work.
5. Frank Zuloaga, Roofing Plans Reviewer, Miami-Dade County Building Department,
and Product Approval Engineer, Roofing Consultant Institute member.
6. Richard McConachie, Chief Building Inspector, CMB Building Department.
The City Attomey's Office will assist the Committee with legal questions or concerns that may arise.
In response to recommendations from some Commissioners, I have appointed Mr. Arnold Goldman
and Mr. Herb Goppman as technical advisors (non-voting) to the Committee.
