Substitute Teach at The Beach Information Session
The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to advise you that the City's Education and
Performance Initiatives Division is collaborating with Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Kelly
Education to sponsor an information session for the Substitute Teach at the Beach program on
Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 10AM. The information session will be hosted at the Miami Beach Golf
Club located at 2301 Alton Road, Miami Beach, FL 33140 (see attached flyer).
Eligible Miami Beach residents who become substitute teachers can earn FREE citywide parking
for one school year and have certification costs reimbursed by the city up to $300 for obtaining the
substitute teacher certification for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.
We will continue to support our vision of being a prosperous city with a special flavor of arts, culture,
education, and business with the management objectives of being known for (PreK-12)
educational excellence.
