SUBJECT: BAY SHORE STASH SITE OPERATION
Please be advised that BFI has withdrawn its early termination letter of July 21, 1998 with respect
to operation of the Bayshore Stash site (their agreement will expire on May 31, 1999).
Onyx Florida, LLC, our new residential solid waste hauler, is still desirous of taking over the
operation of the stash site, anc therefore, we are continuing discussions with BFI. I will keep you
informed.

Dear Ms, Singer:
This letter retracts our letter dated July 21, 1998 regarding BFl's voluntary
termination of the Agreement dated June 1, 1994 concerning the operation of the
Bayshore Stash Station, Upon further review of this situation, we feel that at this
time it is in the best interest of both the City and BFI to honor the original term of the
Agreement (June 1, 1994 through May 31, 1999).
Please be advised that BFI is willing to discuss this further with the City, and we are
available to do so at the City's convenience. Please feel free to call me at 305-638-

extension 217.
